(Lake Park)– The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is warning snowmobilers, ice fishermen and others that the aeration system on Silver Lake near Lake Park has been turned back on.
Officials say there are areas of open water and thin ice as a result. Warning signs are present.
The system was shut down earlier this winter due to the abnormally mild conditions, but has since been re-started.
