(Sherburn, Mn.)– A community celebration is going on this weekend in Sherburn. The Sherburn Holiday Festival is put on by the Sherburn Lions Club. Spokesman Nate Klima says it kicks off Friday evening with the Sherburn Fire Department’s annual chicken dinner along with musical entertainment and a dance. Klima says that will be followed by a full day of events Saturday at the city park…
“A classic auto and tractor show; they’re going to have a sand volleyball tournament in the morning as well; there will be a vendor show. Of course we’ll have the Lions food stand and root beer stand, and I believe ice cream will be there this year and possibly AJ’s Onion Rings, so there’s going to be plenty of food in the park. There will be inflatables for the kids, a beer garden, of course, a parade at 1:00 so if anybody’s interested in putting something in the parade just show up about 12:30 by the Sherburn elementary school and we’ll getcha in that.”
Sunday’s events include a porkchop dinner from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Fox Lake Golf Course.
