(Windom, Mn.)– An Odeboldt, Iowa man was injured Monday night when a semi he was driving left the road and crashed in Cottonwood county.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 40-year-old John Fertig was driving a 2017 Peterbilt southbound on Highway 71 just north of Windom when it left the road in high wind.
Fertig was taken to the Windom hospital with what was described as non-life threatening injuries.
The Windom Fire Department, Windom Ambulance, Windom Police Department and the Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash took place around 11:00 pm.
