(Sheldon)– RiseFest in Sheldon is among the events that will be taking place in the extreme heat this weekend. Rise Ministries Founder and President Rob Roseboom says they’ll have some additional resources in place…
“Of course we always care about everybody’s wellbeing and we will try to make the best opportunities we can available for festival goers to stay hydrated. I know we have one refillable water trailer coming, we just talked about it today as a team. We have, I think, sectioned off another area for another water re-filling station. Of course we always have kind of that same area where you can put up pop-up tents and you can get under them. With the amount of tents that we have on site, with having a seminar building, a citizen’s help plaza building, some of the other buildings, there are opportunities to kind of get out of the sun should it get that hot. And, of course, the EMA’s will be with us and trying to take care of people the best we possibly can.”
RiseFest is a two-day Christian music festival that features the nation’s top Christian artists and speakers, as well as seminars, activities for kids of all ages, and much more. This year’s festival will feature Chris Tomlin, Matthew West, Crowder, Rend Collective, and many more at the RiseFest grounds in Sheldon. Things get underway Friday afternoon at about 4:00.
