(Elk River, Mn.)– Two northwest Iowa men are among three suspects arrested in the burglary of an ATM from a business in Minnesota.
The Sherburne County, Minnesota Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to the Briggs Lake General Store a little before 4:00 am Friday. The Sheriff says entry was forcibly gained through the front door of the business. Security cameras inside captured video of at least two of the suspects. Authorities also were able to get a description of the vehicle they got away in. Officers spotted it within minutes and attempted to pull it over, but the vehicle took off, resulting in a pursuit which ended a short time later.
Three men in the vehicle, identified as 40-year-old Daniel Johnson of Spencer, 36-year-old Robert McKevitt of Spirit Lake and 51-year-old Johnathon Axelson of Minneapolis, were arrested in connection with the burglary.
