“There’s 96 new lots near the Lower Gar Recreation Area or on the golf course. Nice, unique, custom lots. You’ve got the bike trail on three sides of the property; you’ve got Lower Gar Recreation Area, you’ve got your kayak or paddleboard in there, you’ve got the boat landing right there and it’s bike and golf cartable back down to the park and to other amenities there in Arnolds Park. This will be in Arnolds Park and excited to work with the city on that.”
He says site work is already underway on the project, which will also include some new holes at the Emerald Hills Golf Course…
“We did some tree grubbing and they’re going to start on the golf course holes. It does take a year to build a golf course hole so you’ll probably be switching over to some new holes spring of ’26.”
A groundbreaking ceremony was held late Monday afternoon on the project.
