(Spencer)– The Clay County RSVP Literacy Partners Program is the recipient of a $2,500 donation from the Spencer Rotary Club. The funds will be used to purchase new Scholastic books for 1st grade classrooms in Spencer, allowing each child to choose a book to keep and begin growing their own home library.
Nancy Naeve, Secretary and Marketer for Spencer Rotary, says the donation was made possible through the organization’s annual Used Book Sale held each November.
