(Milford)– The city of Milford, a developer and Klaussner Furniture are at odds over a lift station that’s located on property owned by Klaussner.

Following some additional discussion, the council directed an engineer to conduct a feasibility study on two possible options that would make sanitary sewer service available to a larger area surrounding the facility, serving a larger public need, which they say would fulfill one of the city’s prerequisites for taking over the lift station. The engineer will report back at a future council meeting.
