Lake Park Fire Dept. Holding An Omelet Feed Fundraiser This Sunday, April 13th

(Lake Park)– The Lake Park Fire Department holds one of it’s major fundraisers of the year this weekend. Chief Brandon Ehret says they’ll be holding an omelet feed Sunday from 10:30 am until 1:00 pm at the fire station. He says they’ll be accepting a freewill donation…

“Everything goes toward purchasing equipment for the department: trucks, gear. We’ve purchased a few things the last couple of years: new gear dryer and some other equipment for our trucks and what not. It’s an ongoing process to keep things moving at the fire department.”

Ehret says it’s a great way to meet the firefighters and see the equipment firsthand…

“We have about 26 guys and gals on the department and they’re always eager to help out the community and our surrounding communities through fire prevention or fires, car accidents, and things. It’s always a good time to come out and meet everybody and see what we’ve got. We’ll have some things on display for people to see what we’ve been up to and answer any questions they might have.”

Sunday’s event will be held at the fire station in Lake Park.
