(Des Moines)– The Iowa Farm Bureau is holding several meetings to help farmers navigate economic challenges. The meetings will explore topics like tighter margins, high interest rates and market uncertainty during 2026.
Program Manager Zach Brummer says the decisions farmers have to make are tougher than recent years because of more unknowns in the economy and climate.
Early projections expect farmer incomes to decline by more than 20-percent this year, according to a study by Terrain AG.
Six meetings are scheduled from February 16th through the 25th at various locations including one February 16th
in Sheldon.
