(Sioux Rapids)– An investigation into a burglary at a rural Sioux Rapids business has resulted in an arrest.
The Buena Vista County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called Sunday (Oct. 14th) to 4252 80th Avenue for a report of a former employee that had been on the property. Upon investigating deputies discovered the suspect had entered the building and was allegedly attempting to steal items.
The following day authorities arrested 31-year-old Pedro Orozco of Sioux Rapids on a charge of burglary in the 3rd degree. He was booked into the Buena Vista county jail on a $5,000 bond.
