(Adrian, Mn.)– A single-vehicle crash Saturday on Interstate 90 west of Adrian in Nobles county sent two people to the hospital.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 46-year-old Loretta Gerasch of New Ulm was driving a 2004 Jeep Liberty eastbound when she lost control on the icy road. The vehicle traveled into the median, crossed the west bound lanes, went through a guard rail and down an embankment, where it rolled several times before coming to rest on its wheels.
Gerasch and a passenger, 59-year-old Paul Gerasch of New Ulm, were taken to Sanford Hospital in Luverne. Both were treated for minor injuries and released.
The vehicle was totaled.
The crash took place shortly after 10:00 a.m. Saturday.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office.
