(Sioux City)– A Humboldt man was sentenced Tuesday to 15 years in federal prison for exploitation of a child. 44-year-old Paul Flett pled guilty in January of this year to one count of the charge.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office says Flett sent links and images of child pornography to underage girls and asked them to send images and videos of themselves to him. A search warrant was executed on June 6th of last year at Flett’s residence. A forensic analysis of electronic items that were seized turned up 16 videos and 60 images of child porn.
Flett remains in the custody of a U.S. Marhsal pending transport to a federal prison.
