(Jackson, Mn.)– There’s been a major change to the streetscape in downtown Jackson. The building that formerly housed the Coast To Coast Store was recently demolished. Officials with the Jackson Business Development Corporation say debris from the site has now been cleared and that a crushed concrete surface has been put down. They say that will remain in place until late summer of 2026 to give it time to settle. Long term plans are to use the site for additional parking.
Officials say some improvements will be made to a wall of a neighboring building that was left exposed before the project is finalized.
