(Sioux City)– The 3A Judicial Nominating Commission has received five applications for the District Associate Judge position. The vacancy was created by the upcoming retirement of Honorable Ann Gates on August 15th, 2025. The applicants include Jennifer Bennett Finn of Estherville; Elizabeth Elston of Spirit Lake; Stephanie Miller of Algona; Edward Rosendahl of Estherville and Alesha Sigmeth Roberts of Belmond.
Each applicant will be given an opportunity to appear before the entire commission for a personal interview at the Clay County Administrative Building on Friday, June 20th.
Judicial Sub-District 3A includes Buena Vista, Cherokee, Clay, Dickinson, Emmet, Kossuth, Lyon, O’Brien, Osceola and Palo Alto counties.
