(Jackson, Mn.)– Jackson-based Federated Rural Electric and Broadband has received recognition for workplace safety and health. It was among 200 businesses honored during the 2025 Minnesota Safety and Health Conference held in May. The program is coordinated by the Minnesota Safety Council.
Federated Rural Electric and Broadband was among 67 winners in the silver achievement category, with an incidence rate better than the 50th percentile of the state and national average. It’s in recognition of excellence in occupational injury prevention throughout 2024.
Federated is a Touchstone Energy Cooperative serving Jackson and Martin counties with 5,300 members.
