E’Ville Police Pleased Over Results Of Recent Tobacco Compliance Check

November 22, 2014

(Estherville)– Estherville police say they’re pleased after a recent compliance check of tobacco retail establishments didn’t turn up any offenders.

As part of the check, police sent an underage person into the establishments to try to buy cigarettes or chewing tobacco. Sergeant Paul Budach of the Estherville Police Department says none of the establishments sold to the underage person.

The check was conducted Monday (12/19) evening.
