Dickinson County Fair Gets Underway Saturday (July 19th)

(Spirit Lake)– The 2025 Dickinson County Fair gets underway Saturday in Spirit Lake. Fallon Jensen, Dickinson County 4-H Youth Coordinator, encourages everyone to come out to the fair and view the various livestock shows and exhibits…

“Saturday we’re going to have our rabbit and poultry show; we’ll have food trucks here, we’ll have Family Fun Night, there’s going to be the kid’s pedal tractor pull. We will have an open, there’s an open jackpot barrel race, the Dickinson County Fair Queen will be done and then the Fair Board is going to have a ventriloquist and then Sunday morning we’ve got our tractor ride, we’ve got our horse show, we’re going to have a dog and pet show that day and then the Fair Board is going to have their “Feuding Hillbillies” concert. Moving forward into the week we’ve got our sheep and goat show, we have our pie and bucket of junk auction that night as well around 7:00 pm. Tuesday we’ve got the beef show, we’ve got beef buddies that will be coming in, we have that night the Dickinson County Fair Board is going to have Ryan Sather’s going to be coming and doing a piano show. Wednesday we’ll have our swine show and we’ll be going through doing our overall showmanship contest, we’ll have our awards program, youth council will be doing a pizza fundraiser and then Thursday we’ll be moving right into our auction.”

There is no admission charge for the Dickinson County Fair.
