(Spencer)– The Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation received two awards recently at a recent gathering of the Mid-America Economic Development Council in Chicago.
The Corridor received a third place award in the small market division for its 2010-2011 Annual Report, and placed second in the small market division for the Business Recognition Luncheon.
10 states belong to the Mid-America Economic Development Council. Kathy Evert, CEO and President of the Iowa Lakes Corridor, served as the Council’s President for 2011.
The Mid-America Economic Development Council is dedicated to enhancing economic developer’s knowledge, capabilities and opportunities through multi-state networking, education and site selector interaction.
