(Spencer)– Possible injuries were reported in a single-vehicle crash Friday in Clay county.
The Iowa State Patrol says 16-year-old Dankia Heuertz of Peterson was driving a 2002 GMC Yukon westbound on 470th Street and was crossing the intersection with 140th Avenue when she lost control. Troopers say the vehicle then slid sideways and went into the ditch, where it rolled onto its top.
Possible injuries were reported to Heuertz, but she didn’t seek immediate treatment.
$5,000 in damage was estimated to the vehicle.
Heuertz was cited for failure to maintain control.
The crash took place shortly after 6:00 p.m. Friday.
