(Spirit Lake)– A special event February 15th will involve a bus trip to Dickinson county’s various museums. Mary Dreier of the Lakes Area Museum Alliance, or LAMA, tells KUOO news it’s the first time they’ve done something like this…
“The Lakes Area Museum Alliance, an alliance of all 13 museums in Dickinson county, has worked to create a fun, new event and that is the LAMA Express Bus Tour. It’s going to be on Sunday, February 15th from 2:00 until 5:00 pm and we’re partnering with Bus Party Okoboji for this event. What’s going to happen, Steve, is that folks will be transported by the Bus Party’s glorious bus to four different museums in the county where there will be special exhibits, there will be special speakers, there will be opportunities to play some pinball machines at the Arnolds Park Amusement Park Museum and folks will get to see Steve’s Depot and also visit the Winchester Store Museum which is an amazing museum if you haven’t been there.”
