(Milford)– Authorities say no charges will be filed in a case of alleged animal abuse in Milford.
Milford Police Chief Shilo Brevik says officers were called last week to an apartment complex and conducted an investigation. Brevik says a review by both the City Attorney and County Attorney determined no charges were warranted in the case.
Since then, Brevik says the owner of the pet has been experiencing threats of violence and is being harassed. He says they’re actively investigating those. Brevik is asking everyone to leave the person alone.
