APO Fire Dept. Holding It’s Annual Pancake Feed This Weekend

April 30, 2025 Steve Schwaller

(Arnolds Park)– The Arnold’s Park/Okoboji Fire Department will hold their 48th annual pancake fundraiser on Friday and Saturday. Christ Yungbluth, the captain of the department says they have two options for people to enjoy pancakes for a great cause…

We’re gonna be hosting a Friday night so you can come out and have supper with us, the breakfast for supper kind of meal from 5 to 8 and that will be at the Arnold’s Park Fire Station which is right next to Arnold’s Park city hall and if the breakfast for supper isn’t your thing then Saturday morning we’ll be serving from 7 am until noon again at the Arnold’s Park Station. Milford Boy Scouts are bringing back their famous pancakes and we’ll be grilling sausage, the firefighters will. Then we’ll have some stuff for the kids to do as well with our bounce house and some fire safety stuff for them to do as well and hope everybody can come out and help us out.”

The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for kids 12 and under. Yungbluth says the funds will go towards equipment…

“So last year we actually purchased a topper for one of our fire trucks and some new gear racks and this year we’re looking to fund an updated drone with some updated equipment to go with it.”

Enjoy pancakes made by the Milford Boy Scouts from 5 to 8 on Friday and then on Saturday morning from 7 am to noon at the Arnold’s Park Fire Station by City Hall.
