The two signs have an estimated cost of between $51,000 and $58,000.
In other business, the council awarded the low bid of $58,926 for the paving of a parking lot and a trail in the vicinity of the Abby Gardner Sharp cabin and shelter house. The bid, one of five, came in below the engineer’s estimate of $78,000.
