April 03, 2025 Steve Schwaller

(Undated)– While the overnight stops for RAGBRAI this year were announced previously, organizers of the event have now released the rest of the route. And for the first time ever, a small portion of it will actually go outside of Iowa.

With Milford being the first overnight stop on this year’s ride, the route for day 2 will follow Highway 86 north into Jackson county, Minnesota. Riders will then turn east onto Jackson County Road 4 before turning south and going through Superior then east to Estherville for the second overnight stop.

RAGBRAI begins July 19th in Orange City. Locally, pass-through cities include Granville, Primghar, Hartley, and May City for day one and will come into Milford on County Road A-34 for the first overnight stop.

Day 2 pass through cities include Wahpeton and Superior, with an overnight stop in Estherville.

Day 3 pass through cities include Armstrong, Swea City, Bancroft, Titonka, Woden and Crystal Lake with an overnight stop in Forest City. The ride concludes July 26th in Guttenberg.
