    (Orange City)– Sioux county of northwest Iowa is now under a burn ban. It went into effect at 8:00 am Thursday and remains in place until further notice. In addition to Sioux, burn bans are also in effect for Lyon, Osceola, Plymouth and Cherokee counties due to the ongoing extremely dry conditions.
