  • Emmet County Grass Fire Burns About 45 Acres

    (Wallingford)– A grass/wildland fire Saturday afternoon near Wallingford burned about 45 acres. Fire departments from Wallingford and Estherville responded to the call on Burr Oak Road. Wallingford Fire Chief Jared Fisher says it was the result of a controlled burn that got out of hand. No injuries were reported.
