“You can sign up for the 25 mile ride, 50 mile ride or even that 100 mile ride around our beautiful Okoboji campus. That registration, you can get that online or they are taking day-of registering.”
By doing the day of registration Strauss says you may lose out on getting a commemorative t-shirt for the event. She adds the online registration at okobojichamber-dot-com ends June 26th. Strauss emphasizes the event is intended as a ride, not a race…
“This is purely a joyride around the lakes. If you want to set a record, be my guest, but it’s really just to enjoy all of our beautiful trails and the stops along the way. They are going to do a kick off ride at 9:00 am, but again, there’s no pressure to get back or race around the lake by any means.”
Check-in time for the June 28th ride is 7:00 am at Florence Park in Milford with the ride itself starting at 9:00 am.
