The Martin County West football team hits the road again with a visit to Madelia on Thursday night.
The 1-1 Mavericks are looking to break into the win column away from home after state-ranked Mayer Lutheran pulled away last week and MCW blanked Windom in the season opener.
Mavericks head coach Tom Elliott says finding more consistency is the biggest key to getting back to their form of two weeks ago.
The 0-2 Blackhawks have lost by a combined score of 89-0 in the first two weeks against Lakeview and Cleveland. Madelia is looking to avoid a 12th straight loss since returning to 11-man football for last season.
