Mavericks baseball season ends in Sleepy Eye

The Martin County West baseball season came to an end in Sleepy Eye on Thursday.
The Mavericks lost to the Indians 12-2 in five innings.
Easton Kuehl singled, Michael McCorkell walked, and Talon Ebeling reached on an error to load the bases for MCW in the top of the fourth. Kaleb Kennedy hit a two-run single to score Kuehl and then McCorkell on the throw for the pair of Mavericks runs. Kuehl had a pair of hits on the day.
McCorkell had a strikeout and three walks while allowing one earned run on two hits in 2.2 innings to close out his MCW baseball career. Colsan Anderson pitched the other 1.1 innings for the Mavericks.
MCW finished the season with a 3-16 overall record.
