Larson, Paulson lead Mavericks in home triangular

Knox Larson led the Martin County West boys and Clare Paulson led the girls as both golf teams finished third place in their home triangular at Fox Lake Golf Club on Tuesday.
Larson scored 41 featuring five pars and took part in four-way tie for third place individually.
Carson Scheff scored 47 to tie for eighth place. Haydn Lillevold scored 49 to tie for 12th place. Tanner Anderson shot 50 for 14th place and Torrey Paplow shot 51 for 15th place.
Mountain Lake Area-Comfrey won the boys event with 166 ahead of St. Clair with 173 and MCW with 187 in the team scores.
Paulson posted a score of 57 to take eighth place for the MCW girls.
Mya Smith scored 60 in ninth place, Aaliyah Bolstad shot 61 in 10th place, Morgan McCorkell shot 62 in 11th place, and Clare Striemer shot 71 in 13th place.
St. Clair won the girls event with 202 ahead of MLAC with 219 and MCW with 240 in the team scores.
The Mavericks visit GHEC-T-ML at Rose Lake Golf Club along with Blue Earth Area and Maple River on Thursday.
