HUSKIES WIN TRIO OF EVENTS AT TROJAN RELAYS

The Jackson County Central girls track and field team won three events at the Trojan Relays in Worthington on Tuesday.
Natalia Botello-Ramos took home the 100 Meters with Allison Luebben close behind. Luebben also won the Long Jump. Botello-Ramos, Luebben, Zoey Hall, and Stevie Untiedt combined to win the 4×200 Relay. The JCC girls had a trio of second places, a pair of third places, one fifth place, and one sixth place.
The JCC girls collected 87 team points for fourth place and Fairmont scored 179 for the top AA girls score. The Cardinals swept the AA team titles with 174.5 points for the boys. The JCC boys took sixth with 70 team points.
James Atura finished runner-up with the 110-Meter Hurdles and David Botello-Ramos taking second in the 3200 Meters.
The JCC boys also had six fourth places, one fifth place, and a trio of sixth places.
