The Jackson County Central softball team brought home a 16th straight win from Fairmont on Tuesday.
The Huskies routed the Cardinals 15-3 on the road.
Mady Wachal tossed 15 strikeouts and scattered five hits during her complete-game performance. She helped her own cause with a single and scored twice.
Bailey Finck had a pair of doubles among four hits, batted in a pair of runs, and scored twice. Miley VanDeVere produced four hits including a double, two RBIs, and scored twice. Kelcie Sillman had a pair of hits including a double and batted in four runs. Brielle Tufvesson had a pair of hits including a triple plus a pair of walks, three RBIs, and scored three times. Braelyn Boogerd had a pair of hits, three RBIs, and scored once. Cora Pauling had a pair of hits and scored once. Hadley Wachal had a hit, plated a run, and scored twice. Clara Brinks had one hit and scored once.
The 19-1 Huskies are visiting Wabasso on Thursday. They will play in the Big South Conference championship game on Friday and we will have that game on KKOJ.
