The top-ranked Jackson County Central football team is looking to fine-tune some things on the road against Sibley East on Friday.
The 2-0 Huskies are hoping to take care of business well enough to spend more time on developing depth up and down the roster. JCC overcame a pair of stiff challenges against Maple River and Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial so far this season.
Sibley East is 0-2 overall with a combined score of 93-6 against state-ranked Class A Mayer Lutheran and state-ranked Class AAA Luverne. The Wolverines have lost 23 straight games dating back to September 2023.
JCC is looking to extend winning streaks of 28 games and 35 in the regular season. The Huskies also rewrote much of the single-game record book when they blanked the Wolverines 77-0 at home last year.
