Natalia Botello-Ramos qualified for the state meet in three different events to lead the Jackson County Central track and field effort at the Section 2A Championships in Janesville on Saturday.
Botello-Ramos posted personal records to win the 100 and 200 Meters for JCC. She also joined Zoey Hall, Stevie Untiedt, and Allison Luebben in qualifying for state on the runner-up Girls 4×200 Relay Team.
Naiya Ayers recovered from contact on the start to finish third place in the 3200 Meters. Luebben finished fifth in the 200, sixth in the 100, and seventh in the Long Jump. Untiedt completed the top five in the 400 Meters. Alexa Hanson joined Luebben, Hall, and Untiedt for a sixth-place 4×400 Relay finish. Renae Vancura took 14th place in the Discus Throw.
David Botello-Ramos finished third place to narrowly miss qualifying in the 3200 Meters for the boys. Grant Ambrose took home sixth place in the 300 Meter Hurdles. The 4×200 Relay team of Kaden Hill, Jacob Luebben, Brandon Trainer, Grant Ambrose finished sixth place. The 4×800 Relay team of Kayden Mitchell, Nolan Brinks, Grant Tusa, and David Botello Ramos finished eighth place.

Evelynn Christenson led the Martin County West/Butterfield-Odin track and field team effort at the Section 2A Championships in Janesville on Saturday.
Christenson finished sixth place in the Girls 3200 Meters. Mylee Larson took 10th place in the Shot Put. Jaylee Hanson finished 15th place in the High Jump and Hannah Cole did the same in the Long Jump.
Lixon Forsberg finished eighth place in the Boys Long Jump and Hank Olson did the same in the Shot Put. Hayden O’Connor took 14th place in the Triple Jump.
