The Jackson County Central track and field team has girls racing in a trio of events at the Class A State Meet that begins on Thursday.
The 4×200 Relay team of Natalia Botello-Ramos, Zoey Hall, Stevie Untiedt, and Allison Luebben is ranked fifth in the state with a qualifying time of 1:45.68 and will start in lane three of the second heat.
Botello-Ramos is running individually in the 100 and 200 Meters. She is ranked sixth with a time of 12.41 in the 100 as she starts in the sixth lane of the first heat. She is tenth with 25.76 in the 200 and gets the second lane of the first heat.
The Class A preliminary events happen during the afternoon session which begins at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday at St. Michael Albertville High School. The finals are scheduled for Friday afternoon.
