Ries Eyecare is hiring a smart individual that thrives on doing a little bit of everything for a Super Tech position. To be successful, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations where needed. Multitasking, hard-working, reliability, and stress management skills are essential for this position. The duties and responsibilities are to ensure the office runs more efficiently, filling in where needed to positively execute all tasks to the highest quality standards. This will be a flex position with 32-40 hours a week based on availability and need. Confidential interviews will be conducted. Responsibilities
• You will be cross trained in all areas, so you are able to cover when other staff is out on vacation or using sick days
• Posting to social media
• Updating our website with all our new activities and working with our web designer to give them new content and direction
• Scribing and assisting doctor as needed
• Writing Quarterly newsletter
• Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls as needed
• Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
• Pre-testing appointments
• Perform administrative duties such as scheduling, filing, photocopying, transcribing, faxing, etc
• Optical including but not limited to; selling, fixing, and dispensing glasses
• Helping in any other capacity as needed
Requirements
• Proven work or volunteer experience in marketing, business, or healthcare
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. computers, faxing, printers)
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
• Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Customer service attitude
• High school degree required
• We are willing to work around schedules if you are willing to fill in when someone is sick or out on vacation.
