Client Care Specialist
We’re seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Client Care Specialist (CCS) to be the welcoming face and voice of our veterinary hospital. This role is essential to creating outstanding first and lasting impressions for our clients and their pets. The CCS supports veterinarians and medical staff by managing client communication, scheduling, payments, and front-desk operations in a fast-paced, compassionate environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Greet clients and pets, manage multi-line phones, texts, and emails
*Schedule appointments, surgeries, and boarding; confirm visits
*Maintain accurate client and medical records
*Educate clients on services, wellness, nutrition, and retail products
*Process invoices and payments; balance cash drawer
*Prepare consent forms and administrative documents
*Support boarding check-ins and coordinate with hospital staff
*Maintain a clean, organized reception area
*Provide calm, empathetic service in stressful or emotional situations
Qualifications:
*High school diploma or equivalent
*Customer service experience (veterinary or medical setting a plus)
*Strong communication, multitasking, and computer skills
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
*Professional, friendly demeanor with emotional resilience
Physical & Work Environment:
*Standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods
*Exposure to animals, noise, odors, and cleaning products
