MAVERICKS HAVE ANOTHER CHANCE TO GET BETTER AGAINST JAGUARS

***THIS GAME HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO A LATER DATE***

The Martin County West baseball team is scheduled to visit GHEC-T-ML in Truman on Thursday.

The 1-5 Mavericks are looking to snap a three-game losing streak.

MCW head coach Jon Traetow says the Mavs are looking to keep things simple to improve each day.

The Mavericks are 1-2 at home and in Section 2A play but are still seeking their first Tomahawk/Valley Conference win in their third conference game of the year.

The 1-5 Jaguars have split the past two games after an 0-4 start overall. The Jags are 1-2 in section and conference play.

They are still seeking their first road win in their fifth game away from home.

Coach Traetow says they expect a prepared opponent.

Our coverage from Truman begins at 4:15 with the first pitch at 4:30 on Xtreme Country 105.7 FM and Explore Live Video, weather permitting.
