The Spirit Lake boys golf team will have a representative at state next week in Jaizik Miller. He would finish the district meet in fourth place with a 74. Trey Boettcher of Storm Lake (77) and Caden Frederiksen of Cherokee (77) also qualified individually for state. The Class 3A boys state golf tournament is May 26 & 27 at Gates Park Golf Course in Waterloo.
