HUSKIES SINK BUCCANEERS AGAIN

The Jackson County Central baseball team routed Blue Earth Area for the second time this year on Tuesday at Wacker Field.
The Huskies beat the Buccaneers 18-0 in five innings.
JCC piled up 11 runs in the first inning, four more in the second, and three more in the fourth.
Ben Gallagher scored four runs, batted in another, and drew a walk. Jace Jorgenson had a pair of doubles, batted in three runs, and scored four runs. Talan Holm had a pair of hits including a double, batted in four runs, and scored three times. Carson Kolander had a pair of hits including a triple, a pair of RBIs, and scored once. Kash Gilbert had a pair of doubles and scored once. Isaac Hesebeck hit a two-run double and scored once. Kasey Storm hit an RBI single and scored once. Joshua Thompson hit a single and scored twice. Ryan Fricke hit an RBI single and scored once. Levi Thompson drew a walk.
Levi Thompson tossed four strikeouts to go with one hit and two walks. Carson Doescher dealt three strikeouts while allowing just one hit and one walk.
The 5-5 Huskies finish up a three-game homestand against St. James Area on Thursday.
