Legendary drummer John JR Robinson will be visiting friends…
Thursday, December 5, 2024 – 10:30am – Maser Monarch Lodge
Are you looking to stay engaged with nature this winter? Pull up a chair at Kenue Coffee Hour: Winter Birding on Thursday, December 5th, at 10:30 a.m. in the Maser Monarch Lodge. This month, the Dickinson County Nature Center is hosting Sue Boettcher, the Adult Program Coordinator of ISU Extension and Outreach Dickinson County.
From a young age, Boettcher developed a passion for birding, stating, “I have been interested in birding since I was a child. We always had bird feeders hanging by the windows and a bird book by the
window to identify the birds.”
The birding enthusiast is eager to share her interest in the topic in a fun and engaging way, and attendees are in for a treat to try their hand at Winter Bird Jeopardy!
“I look forward to sharing the health benefits of birding, winter bird identification, and the fun of birding,” she stated.
Enjoy a hot cup of coffee, and don’t miss this month’s speaker! Kenue Coffee Hour is a free adult program that does not require any preregistration. For more information, visit
