Legendary drummer John JR Robinson will be visiting friends…
Thursday, March 7, 2024 – 10:30am – Maser Monarch Lodge
Get your feathers ruffled up for Kenue Coffee Hour on Thursday, March 7, at 10:30 a.m. Stop by the Maser Monarch Lodge for coffee and enjoy this month’s speaker, Jeff Baker, owner of Real Life Designs in Spirit Lake. The Dickinson County environmental education staff is looking forward to Jeff
presenting about the technique and business of taxidermy.
Danika Cox, environmental education coordinator, commented, “Taxidermy is becoming a lost art, and I feel it is important for people to see that it is beautiful in its own unique way.” She added, “I also think it is important for people to understand that it requires a lot of skill, patience, and hard work to create these animals and make them look frozen in time.”
Stop in for a cup of coffee and learn about taxidermy! Kenue Coffee Hour is a free adult program, and no registration is required.
