Are you interested in history? Stop by the Maser Monarch Lodge for Kenue Coffee Hour: 1800s Life and Rendezvous on Thursday, January 4th, at 10:30 AM. This month’s speaker will be MarkKlemme, and it isn’t his first time presenting at the Nature Center either.
“Mark shared his knowledge with Spirit Lake students last fall at School of the Wild, and we just knew that adults would enjoy it too. He comes dressed for the part as well as brings many tools and artifacts of the past”, said Naturalist Britney Snell.
“We are fortunate to have passionate organizations and individuals, like Mark, who preserve the history of the Iowa Great Lakes and pass it on for generations to come,” said Amy Heibult, Community Relations
Coordinator.
So, stop by the Maser Monarch Lodge and enjoy a light coffee bar! This is a free adult program and does not require registration. For more information, visit www.dickinsoncountynaturecenter.com. You can
