Kenue Coffee Hour

Connect over a cup of coffee during Kenue Coffee Hour at Maser Monarch Lodge on Thursday, March 6th at 10:30 a.m. The Dickinson County Nature Center provides this monthly gathering offers adults an opportunity to listen to speakers every month present about our natural world in some
regard.

Attendees will have a chance to listen to Amy Crouch, Little Sioux Project Director. This month’s program will center around the Little Sioux Watershed and its global significance. During the presentation, Crouch will explain why The Nature Conservancy (TNC) is involved in Iowa and how the watershed’s ecological health directly affects our well-being.

“We’ll then focus on the global importance of the Little Sioux Watershed, discussing efforts to maintain or improve its ecosystem health and why these efforts matter for people, plants, and animals alike,” Crouch stated.
“Caring for the Little Sioux Watershed, and nature in general, is caring for ourselves. If our environment is healthy and functioning well, so are we!”
