Legendary drummer John JR Robinson will be visiting friends…
January 2, 2025 – 10:30am – Dickinson County Nature Center
Join Dickinson County Nature Center staff for Kenue Coffee Hour: Abbie Gardner at the Maser Monarch Lodge on January 2nd at 10:30 a.m. We welcome our speaker for January – Mary Dreier, Director of Dickinson County Museum, as she presents the details of Abbie’s life, which extend past the Spirit Lake Massacre.
“We will be exploring parts of Abbie’s story that have not been widely publicized – including the fact that Abbie, at the time of her death, was a wealthy woman,” stated Dreier.
As Director Dreier shares these lesser-known facts during her presentation titled Abbie-Beyond the Massacre, you can enjoy a hot cup of coffee from the light coffee bar provided by the Nature Center.
“There is lots more to Abbie Gardner’s story than the Spirit Lake Massacre. She was smart, tenacious, a brilliant businesswoman, author, and more,” stated Dreier. Stop in to journey through our local history and engage with other enthusiasts.
