Legendary drummer John JR Robinson will be visiting friends…
Thursday, February 1, 2024 – 10:30AM – Maser Monarch Lodge
Hubba hubba! Not only is love in the air for humans, but it is also for animals. Stop by Maser Monarch Lodge and enjoy some coffee at Kenue Coffee hour on Thursday, February 1st at 10:30 a.m.
The Dickinson County Nature Center staff are excited to host Kaitlin Anderson, the naturalist of Palo Alto County, to speak about animal courtship. Kaitlin will be bringing a male and female painted turtle with
her, as well as some pelts and animal mounts to showcase. Learn about how different species display elaborate courtship behavior to woo their mates.
Environmental Education Coordinator, Danika Cox exclaimed, “the animal world is wild when it comes to love!” adding that she hopes the audience enjoys learning about the different displays. Kenue Coffee Hour lasts approximately one hour, is free to the public, and does not require registration.
