Human Library: Walk in the Steps of Others – Local Authors Pam Doocy-Curry and Diana Koppen at Spencer Public Library

The Doocy sisters published two memoirs, Breaking Free from Rigid Boxes: From the Outside Looking In: Marion Helland, Nine Decades of Civil Rights Service and Crossing the Threshold: A Love Story Unparalleled. This program will talk of Memoir Writing and how through their writings, Pam and Diana continue to stress the value of actively listening to one another. Transcribing conversations onto paper will preserve family and community history forever.
