Family Nature Night: “I heART Nature”

Friday, February 28, 2025 – 5:00pm-6:00pm

This Valentine’s season, families are invited to celebrate love, creativity, and the beauty of nature at Family Nature Night: I HeART Nature on Friday, February 28th, from 5:00-6:00 p.m.

This free program offers interactive stations designed for families with various ages of children to explore nature and gain an appreciation for the outdoors. For an hour of excitement, children will move through different activity stations, each centered around the theme of love. Begin by reading a story and meet some animal ambassadors! Make a heart using natural materials and search for animals in the magnet sensory bin station. Weather permitting, families will head outside to make colorful designs in the snow. Don’t forget to participate in the group art project by adding your thoughts to the “Why We Love the Nature Center” poster.

This event is the perfect way for families to spend time with one another, get creative and experience nature in a new and meaningful way.
