Dickinson County Nature Center – NATURE TOTS (2-5 Year Olds)

Get what time it is? It’s time for Nature Tots at the Dickinson County Nature Center! For February’s theme, Hickory Dickory Dock, your young ones will sing, dance, and learn about mice and other rodents of Iowa. The program will take place on Wednesday, February 14, at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Danika Cox, environmental education coordinator, is passionate about this program, stating, “I always enjoy planting seeds of a love for nature in young kids and watching them grow and nurture that love.”
She said, “Most children are familiar with this nursery rhyme, and using music as a tool to connect with conservation is something young kids will remember.”

Nature Tots is a free program for 2- to 5-year-olds with a chaperone on the second Wednesday of every month, and we offer two identical sessions at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
